The powder transport system performs the following functions:
- Powder depalletizing into batch ingredient quantities
- Moving inner bags to bag emptying station
- Powder conveying from emptying stations to buffer hoppers or ribbon blenders
- Ingredients go through automatic blending in ribbon blenders
- Powder conveying from the blenders to buffer hoppers
- Infant formula powder and cereal based baby food powder automatic sieving through metal detectors
- Product delivery to can filling or sachet filling lines
Can Filling Lines
The can line system performs the following functions "embossing or ink-jet printing options are available"
- Manual depalletising empty cans
- Accumulation and transport of empty cans
- Cleaning and sterilizing empty cans
- Filling cans
- Weight checking in addition to under and over weight cans rejection
- Cans clinching, gassing and seaming
- Can inversion and can accumulation for palletisation
Sachet Filling Line
The sachet line system performs the following functions
- Powder gas flushing prior to filling
- Sachet automatic forming
- Vertical and horizontal bottom head sealing
- Filling and gassing sachets
- Horizontal top heat sealing
- Weight checking, in addition to under and over weight sachets rejection
Cereal Plant
Nutridar upgraded its cereal production lines in 2004 to produce infant cereals from basic raw materials. The know-how for the upgrade of the facilities was obtained from Nutridar’s strategic partner Ordesa (Spain), based on the latest state-of-the-art technology used worldwide for manufacturing high quality cereals.
